Erin Ivey

“It says a great deal when Austin’s legendary music scene considers you its darling, but such is the case these days for velvet-voiced
Erin Ivey” (Roxy). The Austin Chronicle claims “Ivey’s adventurousness stands out in a town saturated with singer-songwriters.” Her
latest solo release, Dreamy Weather (June 2013), is an intimate performance featuring Ivey’s crystalline voice and award-winning
songs in a sparse, shimmering live setting. Her previous album, Broken Gold (2011), is a fan-funded, critically-acclaimed collaboration
with R&B/dub trio The Finest Kind that “broke Top 10 lists of nearly all local outlets for Ivey’s sepia-washed pipes” (SXSW 2013 Critics’
Picks). Think Eva Cassidy, Jeff Buckley, and Mazzy Star and you’ll be in the right constellation. Erin has played more than 500 live
shows nationwide, been named one of Austin’s top indie artists, and has “quietly become one of our city’s biggest critical
successes” (KUT, NPR). Erin Ivey sparkles with a band, lately backed by the renowned Tosca String Quartet, and she mesmerizes solo
with her handmade signature electric guitar.
